Rend 10-29

I took a buddy I've known for 45 years who only fishes once or twice a year hoping to show him the hot crappie bite. Well things were much slower today. We fished from 7:45 to about 12:30 and ended up with 18 overs and 14 unders. 9 or 10 of the overs were nice fat 12-12.5 inch fish. My buddy held his own and did good picking up jigging for the first time. Weather was beautiful. I should have drove around until I found the Crappie Predator and moved in on his spot!!!

Oh ya, I also broke one of my Ozark jig poles. It snapped about 2 feet up from the reel seat when I set the hook on a 10" crappie. Debating whether to get another Ozark or try something else.
