Lake Monroe Evening Fishing

Hey Everyone,

I have not been crappie fishing, but as the weather cools off, looking for something closer to home vs going to the coast to fish, especially on windy weekends.

Question, why are there no evening fishing reports for Lake Monroe? I generally prefer sunset fishing over sunrise and was curious if there's something different about crappie.

Nope, just most guys load up and head out early. Have had many good afternoon quick trips after work in past.

Now if they would fix the Lake Monroe Wayside Park boat ramp :( I think that's the only 24/7 ramp and it's been closed for over a year. We use the ramp across the street, but it closes at dusk.

It is open as well as the ramp on marina island

Is that ramp public? For some reason I thought it was a private marina/ramp?

Yep, wide open public launch.
