10/5 - 10/6/18 KY Lake

I'm working midnights the month of October, so most of my trips out are 3-5 hour trips. Friday the 5th was my first trip on KY Lake in over a month. Main objective was find enough fresh fish for a family fish fry on Sunday the 7th. So, on this day I fished from 8:30 til 1pm before my better judgement kicked in and told me to go in before something happened. Ended the day with 15.
So on Saturday I was fully rested and back on the water by sunrise. Bite was fairly decent early, but it fell off quick as it got hot quick. This was the last of the 90 degree weather and 79 degree water temps. Ended the day at noon with 12 freshest.
Total fillet count for fish fry was 54 which was plenty for 9+ folks coming! Attachment 319993 Attachment 319994
