Thinking about trolling a few cranks with this cool snap. I’m looking for some advice. Specifically something like this:
Use bandit 200 with 100 ft of line at 1.3 mph. I really appreciate any help

At 1.7 mph instead of 1.3...with 100 ft of line out from where it enters the water...that would put your bandit 200 at 12 and a half ft. deep

I am setting up my troll rig now. Where are you trolling?
Prolly try cypress this weekend. Time permitting. Ty for help!
I was hoping to go tomorrow if it ain't raining. I normally use 300s on anywhere from 30'-45'. Last trip out many weeks ago, I ran 200s on 60'-85' and did ok. Not great. Ran between 1.4-2.0. Caught more running 1.6. I'll look for you if I make it out. I fished from out across from the beach to the Parks Rd launch. Caught most around the point across from the beach on the creek edges in 12-14 fow. Lake was low, but that was on Sept 9. Haven't been since.
I was in Larto yesterday pulling 200 & 300 series baits and C55s. I use the bait balls to help detirmine how deep to set my lines. The "Arkie" depth chart helps shortening the guessing curve. Yesterday pre front the bait was eather shallow and down on the bottom. The 200 in Bone White with 46' of line out ran @ 6' deep caught most of the fish but they were small to medium size. My two keepers came on the bigger baits pulled about 3' off the bottom. They seemed to want the bait moving @ 1.4 to 1.6 mph. Keep changing baits, color, speed, and depth till you find what they want. Each lake is different what works on one may not work on another. The only thing I will guarantee is that this habit gets expensive.
What line are y'all using on these crankbaits?
Most depth charts are based using 10# mono. I switched to braid with the same diameter as the mono to help save baits from garfish in my area.
