Wylie 10-17-18

We put in on Big Allison this morning. Water was a little muddy around the discharge from Catawba. Also, the main channel was a little muddy. A few big trees floating down east of the Nuclear Station.

Catching was slow. Had to try some new spots. Missed several good fish but put 9 in the boat. Had 1 flathead about 18 lbs & a couple of blues about 18 lbs.

Wind was some trouble this morning. Kept blowing us in the wrong direction. Otherwise, not a bad morning.

Yea that wind messed with us,too. the bite was slow.

You still got fish Mr. Charles and that is a plus! Do you tight line for crappie's while drifting for catfish?:popcorn

No, its keeps us pretty busy with the catfish rods between the fish & stumps.
