First report
I spent the first 2 hours checking out the lake on the Richland creek area and found lots and lots of standing timber. I did run to a smaller creek and found some on brush piles. I was tight lining 12 feet deep useing Bobby Garland bodies in blue ice. I just got my decals for my fiberglass G3 and will be selling my Aluminum 17 1/2 G3 pro on crappie . com first. Back to the report I ended up with 7 fish with enough for dinner. With the size of this lake it's going to take a while to learn!!!!! That's what I told my wife when we moved to Ga. I wanted to spend my retirement learning a new lake and that has come true. It sure is great only being a mile from the lake. I'm not used to only taking 2 minutes to get to the ramp. Before the closet lakes where 45 minute drive and the best lake was 3 hours away. I have been spoiled!!!!! Hopefully the reports will get better.

JIM- Nice to see a report from you on your new home lake. I know with your skills it won't be long before the crappie are no longer safe. Going to miss talking to you up here on the NWR this winter. Send a few pics up our way. Tight lines. Will (windjinx)
