Squeaked Out a Decent Day!

Took my BIL and niece out today. It was her first crappie trip. We lost about 3 good ones at the boat. Holly still caught all the big ones. Most of our fish came off of creek channel drops in 10 feet water. Minnows and jigs produced about the same. Blk/Chart. produced early in the fog and then Pinks were better when the sun came out.

I'd say that's a good way to introduce a youngin' to the world of crappie fishin'. She shouldn't forget today for a long time...

We talked a little while about how much more fun this was than running all over the state playin' softball!:)
