Anybody here ever catch any white crappie or black nose crappie on Lake Lanier. I've been fishing it for years and 99 percent of what I catch is black crappie.

Lake Blackshear is the only lake of in Georgia that I know of that has a decent white crappie population. I haven't fish all of Georgia's major lakes, but of Sinclair, Oconee, Eufaula, Harding and Blackshear...Blackshear is the only place I have caught any. Side note I did catch my 1st Black nose crappie from Blackshear this year...before that Eufaula is the only lake I would catch Black nose crappie regularly at......so anything is possible.
I have caught whites in Bartletts Ferry.

I've caught white crappie and black nose in Seminole too. Black nose in many Florida lakes including Talquin.
My best White from Blackhear...it was COLD that day! And a tailgate full of whites and blacks.
Looks like I’m gonna have to make a trip to Lake Blackshear! Anyone know how far that is from Gainesville GA?
