When I come here my browser (chrome) says "this page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources"
I would not worry about that. Crappie.com is now using https, which is a secure version of http. So when something gets loaded to an https page that is http, chrome is complaining. If you click on the spot to the left of the url where the little icon is with the “i” in it it should tell you what the http file is that’s using http and I could fix it. It could simply be someone’s avatar url. But in any case it’s likely no big deal to just ignore.
Ricky .... that's because there are both http & https (unsecure & secure) links running on the site. I have the same "notice" on my address line, but I don't pay it any mind. It's probably something that Slab will have to fix, if it's necessary to fix it, once he comes home from his road trip. I'll make him aware of it !!
:Rofl .... he beat me to it !!
Thats because I made him aware of it :biggrin
If you still have the http url in your favorites ,or on your address bar, or book mark...just change them to https url and that should fix it....it did mine
I thought so, too .... but, I've changed my URL to the secured https address & still see a little red square in the far right of the address bar, and when I put my pointer on it ... it says "this page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources". If I click on it, the drop down box says "Insecure content blocked" and gives me the option to allow that content to be shown.
Like Slab says ... it may even be someone's avatar (could even be mine :dono ) but it's not a big deal.
Unauthenticed sources. I clicked on this thread thinking it was a fishing lie, I mean tale, being shared. :yikes
OK guys thanks.... I will not worry about it.
