August 3-5 Cave Run weekend

Attachment 313145Attachment 313146 Thought I’d share my most recent Cave Run Crappie excursion. Fishing was good, as had been each trip this year. Most Crappie were all keepers I felt like, however...no real BIG ones seemed to bite this time. The lake seemed pretty normal level, surprisingly after all the rain that’s falling in the last few weeks in/around Bath, Rowan & Morgan. I only ever use minnows, so no real technique to speak of...but the fish are definitely still feeding strong.

Cave Run's water levels have been pretty stationary since the first of May, even with all the rains. I guess they learned their lesson after the Feb-May flooding. :Doh:

Even when using minners ... there's several "techniques" that could be used. So, can I just assume you were Spider Rigging :scratchhead
