Shelbyville this weekend
I’m back here for the weekend staying at Bo Wood. Wanted to stay at Lithia springs but all the big camp spot were full
Is there a difference in Fishing this east west arm or the lake compared to the north south arm that goes from railroad bridge?
I’m ready for jigging, slip bobbers, trolling cramps, or pushing jigs. Saw reports they were holding 15-20 ft

Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner, but you may want to give Brian Cleland
(crappie24 on CDC) a call at (217) 278-9789 and check with him. The last time
I spoke to him he would launch out of Bo Woods but then travel 15-20 miles down
to fish. The last we spoke he said the north end is pretty well silted in and if water
is low then it makes fishing harder. Hope you have some luck. Or drive down to
a launch site closer to the dam. Wolf Creek access right down Rte 32 would be my
choice, and check in with the IL DNR office and get a copy of the March 2018 habitat
that was dropped.

North end is plenty deep and fishable. Target 10-20fow ends of laydowns and structure. Minnows and slip corks. We had 47 keepers today, caught well over 100. Minnows and slip cork set 9-15ft deep. You can also fish any pole timber you find slip cork and minnow or tight line a straight minnow right next to it ease it down slow fish are 10-14ft deep on the timber. 1-3 fish on about every one.

Got a late start hit water at 230. Changing side imager transducer that came in mail Thursday was a challenge.
Launched at bo wood found cubes right away but no fish. No fish at coal shaft bridge. Worked my way down towards dam and got ten on one cube it took a half hour to motor back some water was flat some very choppy
Only used a 1/16 ounce pico with white white and yellow tail water seemed stained due to boat traffic. Gonna head south tomoorow water was about 80 while it was 84 up north. I did find lots of cubes
