Recycling the concrete peirs at the REX...

When I heard they were about to tear out the old concrete piers at Madison landing, and haul them off, I suggested that they might be used to create fish attractants, and possibly save money at the same time. The PRWSD board has been presented with the idea, and at this time it appears that it will likely happen, some time next week.
We are looking at some mounds near the river channel as possible locations, which would offer something that hasn't been there before...

Sounds good as long as they are in a good location and its published. 12-15 fow on a big flat

Better drop them somewhere deep. Already enough dangerous obstacles in that lake.

They will be no closer then 9 feet below surface at regular pool stage, depending on orientation....

Sounds like a good way to make use of them, now you just stay away from them when they are sinking them, or else they may wanna float :biggrin

I hope they put them somewhere the bottom will hold them. A lot of soft bottom on Barnett that will swallow them in less than a year... but I do agree it should be named “Clifford’s reef”

Sounds like a good idea. I agree with DEE about the soft bottom, they will not last long in most areas.
