I do not know. :dono The Coosa River Crappie Club has their Classic tournament scheduled for the 10th. and we are thinking we will have to change the date or change it to another lake. Also I have no idea how the fish will react to the draw down and how long after it is raised back up will it take for the fish to get back to normal behavior.
Thanks Roger. I appreciate it. May have to move my trip to December.
I'm pretty sure you can put in by the dam. I have in the past when its down. Last time I fished it when it was low I did very well on lay downs. I limited out in a couple of hours. This doesn't happen often so who knows for sure.

Was down for 2 days in march. Was going to stay 10 and the weather put me back to the house. Was down when you had all the hell damage around cullman. Thanks lowe175. Trip was planned for around the 15th of November for a week. We spider rig the river channel most of the time. Afraid the fish will scatter back out as the bring the lake back up. Roger I fish out of a 361 ranger. Crimson and silver in color. Hope one day to meet some of you fellows from crappie.com. Know Leonard and Stanley for many years but enjoy making new friends. I did see where they will start filling lake on the 12th and back full on the 15th. I know this don't help your tourney much. Lowe175 hope to meet you one day as well. Come down in March and November. THANKS Guys
I also have known those 2 fellows for about 15 years, fine folks. I also fish from a Ranger, mine is dark green and set up for spider rigging. If you see me please stop and say hello. :fish
