I am thinking about heading to truman early Friday anything biting? Stripers, crappie maybe? Also I may be by myself anyone interested in meeting up maybe?

Spent last week at Truman. Crappie were slow for us, caught most trolling the flats for whites. Probably could have caught a few more but left the rigging gear at home. Did pretty good with the whites, but they were spotty, surface briefly, then gone.
That's not the report I was hoping for lol.

Fish the trees 10 to 12 ft down in 20 fow for crappie, early bite has been the best.
Fished the Little Pomme arm for three days this week. Had limits each day with some 14- 14 1/2" crappie. Pitching slip bobber and minnows to the tree lines in 7'-15' fow. Bigger minnows worked best.
