Well, my nights stalk turned into probably more like a early morning stalk. Started around 3 a.m. Water is 84 on the surface slight breeze. started around the bridge pilings. Caught 1 12" fish and too many dinks to count. So I made a move out to a little bit deeper water, wound up finding some fish on a little creek channel submerged point with some brush on the end of it in about 20 fow, Fishing 18 ft down. Caught at least 15 keepers. One fish I measured it was 13 3/4in. Another one 12in. Several in the 10 to 11 inch range I lost count probably 15 would have been keepers in all. I came out with two dozen minnows I asked for Tuffy's mediums I guess. The minnows were so small I had got to where I had to put two and three minnows on a hook to make it even presentable I was ashamed to put them little things down there as bait. I enjoyed myself it was a nice relaxing cool evening, early morning rather. So much so I'll probably go home and get some rest and some breakfast and do it again tomorrow early morning.

Good catch, a lot cooler at night, and less crowded. Hopefully the daytime lake crowds will start to thin out after the Holiday 4th week. The dark (new) moon should help the night bite this week. Best of luck and stay safe.
