Monday morning Crappie 7/08/18

My friend, Pat, aka Bassett, accompanied me this morning on a short scouting trip for crappie on the opposite direction from yesterday’s trip. Yesterday was much better for results. We did manage 5 nice size crappie and I caught a little spotted bass and 2 Largemouth bass

We checked docks on the lower end and it showed me that I need to concentrate on offshore structure up river. Grin. We fished BG plastics in natural colors and in Cicada color to land our fish.

We saw Hippy Daveout there just before we quit. I was back home by 10 am. Also talked to Warren and his friend as well. Good seeing all. Today must be the only day that people work. Not many out this am.

Fun times for sure! Congrats on getting some thump therapy!

That last picture is a sure enough Slab! Healthy looking warm water fish.

I can't think of a better way to start the day!
