Caught a WHALE!
Got home today and stil had about 2 hours of daylight, so I hit Tri-County. Caught 2 little dinks, so I decided to tie a chart jig and a white/pink jig on my ultralight rod. (6 lb line) I was trolling along and had a good hit, set the hook and it was ON! Literally 20 min later I netted a 16 lb channel cat.. LOL. Not for sure who was more tired, me or the fish. Couple of folks up on the bank watching the show, so I trolled over and give it away. I got a picture of him holding it, but can't post at the moment. I still can't believe I landed that sucker

Dude, that's awesome to get a fish like that in the boat on 6lb line. I'll bet those spectators were jumpin' up and down.:D
And speakin' of catfish, you should have seen me this morning on Conway. I was fishin' those six 13' rods under the pedestrian bridge, which now has about 4' of clearance. I hooked into a little 2lb flathead on the middle pole directly under the bridge. Talk about a monkey screwin' a football...I'm sure those folks out there were wondering if I was going in the drink...

You boys get to have all the fun lol!

16 pound kitty on 6 lb test. That's impressive. I bet the spectators were excited when you gave them the cat. Congrats on your catch.

Mucho impressed! Great thread, that's sure to give those spectators some full bellys tonight! 16 lb'er is one heck of a channel catfish! Great work! MM
