GASTON 6-27-18

Went to gaston wed and search for crappies with my units,i found them in 12-15 fow,caught 25 ,biggest 14 1/2,14,and many 12-13,one thing about gaston is not as many fish but most fish caught are bigger,they wanted small baits today,last week they wanted hair jigs more but wed they wanted plastic about 2 to 1,i was casting and jigging but they were more spooky wed than last week with the water cleared up and i would see many but catch a couple in a spot and they would move or shut down,i would ride over it again and most were gone.just thought i write some of my trips on gaston to keep board alive,i know most of you do not fish gaston for the distant,so if it is boring let me know and will stop,hope to go once a week if possible,GOD BLESS, BTW ,I do not hardly ever keep any,just love to fish and another thing one was still black,was not expecting that,have pics on phone but not know how to get to computer:dono
