Tough go today.

Thought it might be with all the rain but had to give it a go. Took my neighbors dad he had never heard of crankbaits for crappie. Told him all that rain might make things tough but he is only here for a day or two and temps for thurs. and fri. did not look good for me or him. Away we went I knew it was not good when we had went several hundred yards and not a tick. Oh well then it was one and a long time number two. Had a good day out with him and ended up with a few hope for a better run next time.Attachment 308413

About that many crappie and the same number of channel cat trolling cranks at Stockton for me on Wednesday. Fished ALL my good walleye spots and nary a scale.

8 nice ones is a good day in my book. But that's just me, better luck next time for you. Thanks for sharing.
