Was a slow bite where I was. Spoke to a few others who did better. Only 11 fish but had fun!! Saw lots of trees with fish eggs on them, not sure if they are sac-au-lait eggs.

Those are actually an invertebrate filter feeding organism called freshwater bryozoans. They are colonial creatures, but harmless to lakes or ponds. Nice catch of Crappie!

Always wondered what the rubbery mass was myself --- It was easy to see that it was not Eggs - anything that cleans up the water is welcome .
