A debt that is unplayable and must never be forgotten
Dad was G company commander 502d Parachute Infantry and jumped into Normandy. Horrific losses that impacted him to the day he died. And so many young folks today do not have a clue. Shame on us as a society when we let those memories wane with age.

My Dad went into Omaha Beach on D-Day. He never told anything about the horror, only the funny stories that came later in the war. If you have ever seen The Longest Day, the paratrooper the got hung on the church steeple and shot by the Germans. Dad helped cut him down.
Dhaire & Deltarat
The men and women who served in that time saw horrors that I hope our country never sees again. Sadly, our military past and present isnt held in high esteem as alot of us would like. I stand behind them with all my support. My thanks goes out to both of your fathers for the duty they carried out. I know it cost both of them much pain through the years. Thanks to any here that serve in the military and first responders. You have my greatest respect.
