Succession?

I have always wanted to fish succession but never made it down that way. My question is how’s the fishing? I figured the prime fishing is gone but I was going to go try docks and deep structure depending on what I found on my graph. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would suspect that unless you fish during the middle of the week then the pleasure boaters would wash you up on the bank. And....that might even be the case during the week now. Good luck.:)

This time of the year the lake can be very busy with boaters but get in line [emoji846]
From the ramp head down the lake through the S turns and the lake straightens. Start looking there heading down the lake. I think you will find fishing spots and should save you some time riding.
At times they will be on the upper end of the lake above the bridge but I really believe you will find good fish down the lake. Good luck and please do let us know how your trip goes.

The best time to go this time of year is be on the water at day
break this way you can fish the upper part and the middle
section. I’ve seen the regulars do this and there limited by
9 or 11 am depending on skill
saw one guy limit out at 8am
