I made my first outing for crappie last Saturday. Longlined 1/16 oz jigs. It has been almost a year since I had been. I was worried that I might have forgot which rod went where on the boat ! Anyway the Lord blessed me with a limit,mostly 10" class fish,caught mostly 20 plus FOW. Lots of folks were fishing.Attachment 305571

Never heard of a carp caught while longlining. Glad that you are fishing again. Hopefully we can cross paths soon.

That carp reminds me of a catch I had years ago as a kid in a pay lake where I won the jack pot for smallest of the week! :Rofl
1.7 oz. $25 bucks went a long way then! :fish
