Grand Glaize Arm

I have a work trip Sunday and Monday at Osage Beach and I’m debating on whether to pull my boat 5 hours and extend my stay to try to find some crappie. I’m normally a spider rigger but like fishing brush piles. Are there many in the Grand Glaize area and how hard are they to find? What other methods might be productive?

I dont have much experience fishing brush piles. I would rig or dip trees this time of year though personally.

I would be pulling crank baits, main lake point is where i would start.

Any suggestions on colors? I have mostly Bandits 300’s and a couple Arkies.
