Last minute trip

Laura and I both got a long weekend so we planned a last minute fishing trip. Had some buddies tell me that Enid, MS was hot right now if you could weed through the short fish. (Length limit is over 12 inches). We went out with 6 dozen minnows and fed the 11 inch Crappie all morning. Finally got tired of rebating every 30 seconds and switched over to long lining jigs. It was on!!! Ended the day with a good mess of 12 1/2 to 15 1/2 inch fish. Laura had big fish for the day with a 15 1/12 inch chunk. She even helped fillet them.

Sad news was we heard of a drowning there Saturday evening. They still haven’t located the person as of Sunday evening.
