Does anyone use this unit, just installed 2 on my boat. I have always used Lowrance new to Garmin and could use some pointers.

One or two guys over on bassboatcentral are running those. cannot remember their user names at the moment tho. Maybe treeguygus but IDK. Was thinking montess had a 70s at one time but am unsure. He's here now and then, perhaps he can be helpful.
I have been running the 1040 gpsmap for about 4 years now. Has been a good reliable unit. I have it networked with a PS 21 and PS 30 Panoptix transducers via a GVC 10 box.
Any specific questions ?
