Peckerwood??

Me and a buddy are thinking about trying peckerwood this weekend. Gonna be spider rigging looking for deeper brush. Has anyone had any luck over there using this method? I’ve always just joined the masses and ran yoyos in the shallows. Any help, advice, or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

If you fish around 6 ft deep you will find more brush that you can handle !!!

Yea we quickly discovered that lol. Ended up with 22 in the cooler so all in all a good day

Minnows or jigs ??

Initially started with minnows but the aerator stopped about 30 mins into the trip so when they went belly up we switched to all jigs and slab sauce. Did most of our damage on silver sparkle w/chartreuse tail and purple/chartreuse.
