If a mans on a budget what’s the easiest way to get set up for spider rigging
Every man's budget is different of course but when I first tried it I made my own rod holders an bought some 10 foot pinnacle crappie rods from grizzly jig. Of course I've upgraded significantly since then but one thing I learned if your where the fish are an have the right bait Equipment didn't have to be high dollar👍 I've got some old 12 foot pinnacle rods in shop I might make a deal on...
Hey man I get what you mean by starting on a budget. I started with a 4 rod homemade holder, which you can have if I've still got it and used jig poles that I already had. But then I started buying the cheapest stuff I could find. Now that I look back on it, I would do it different now if I had to do it again. I would suggest to just go ahead and buy good stuff a piece at a time instead of cheap stuff all at once. Otherwise you'll do like I did and wind up spending even more when you start replacing the cheap stuff with what you actually need. Just a thought.
And if any ones got i pilot trolling motor they’d sell REALLY cheap i know a guy interested in one :biggrin
I started out with a five gallon with notches in the top to hold the rods filled half way up with water, after they fell over the third time I bought real rod holders. then more poles, more electronics , then another boat more poles then rod racks , more electronics. Now I only need a set of trolling rods but I have been no more fishing stuff until i get rid of something so I'm waiting for her to forget she said that. In other words just start small let it grow into a empire of fishing artillery
I have 4, 12' BNM Pro staffs that I will give you a better deal on than you can buy 4 new "cheap" rods for. They're 1 year old
You can go real cheap by using bamboo poles and home made PVC rod holders .
