They’ll eat anything, so maybe they do get on juvenile crappie. I’ eat em. Cut the lateral line out and they’’re fine

We do not need to be returning these things to our lakes . I have sucked it up and started eating them . ( Just don't tell anybody). Let me say if cleaned properly they aren't that bad . Everyone we eat is one less we have to deal with in the future.
Pull out one side of the gills. Osprey like them. No sense in choking those things down.
