Well, the Crappie are really turning on to my style of fishing but my boat is in the shop at the Boat Doctor! I did manage to coax my friend out on his boat and we had to hunt and peck a bit but we found some pretty nice ones and kept 26 at the end of the day. This hot weather is pushing them out to where I want them to be and they are stacking up, we threw back several fish because he he didn't have anything to measure them with but it was a great day on the water.
Good job on catching some nice Crappie in this hot weather !
I caught 4 this afternoon long lining between 7:00-8:15 pm.
Where are you located on lake Murray ? I am just above Black's Bridge.
I’m gonna be down for vacation June 5th through the June 11th. Any pointers ?

Over by Camp Barstow, the Boy Scouts of America facility.
Find a laydown near a creek channel in 9-15 feet of water and pick it apart with a 1/32 oz. jig with a dark color curly tail body with a chartreuse tail on 6 lb. test.Quote:
