Got out in the kayak this morning. Was hot and windy. Fished about 6 hrs and landed 4 fish, one was a LMB. Brutal. Tried miners under a float, casting jigs, trolling about everything. Couldn't hardly buy a bite. But here's what we got..

Yes sir. That's compliments of mr ed moes..gonna do a report on it when we get a bit better trip. Hard to form an opinion with only 4 landed lol
Nice job! I like the report. Looks like fun. I just took my new yak out on a local creek for smallmouth bass and it was also slow but I like my new yak.

That's the public land we was talking about in my other post. Where you asked if you could launch a kayak. Glad you enjoyed it, that's a good thing about the yak even if I can't buy a bite I have a good time. You ever get down this way let me know and well get after some in the yaksQuote:

I'm generally a minner Fisher, so from where I stand if I can catch as many with the jigs I'd be impressed. I took my 4th trip out today without minnows, not much to report. 3 little warmouth that was gonna be cat fish bait but they had other plans. LolQuote:
