Had fun at Truman

My wife and I had a blast at Truman last weekend, once we got to fishing. We rolled into town on a “maypop” tire and had to make a pit stop for some new shoes on the boat trailer.
Friday afternoon was kinda slow for us, only putting a dozen keepers in the boat. But nice size! Saturday we started by drifting shad for blues, but that didn’t work out. So we took a boat ride up the lake and found a Good spawning bank and made a couple nice limits. That was my first time away from the dam area of the lake. Just like twain, spent some time doing circles on stick-ups!

fun time looks like and good job switching when one thing wasn't working. Truman was on fire so glad you got into some.
