Couple of questions???

Was hoping to get some feedback from you guys about a couple things I've been wondering about.

First, do any of you guys know of some good jigheads for oversized plastics? Say 3"+ the problem I'm running in to is that I want a hook big enough so the hook isn't buried in plastic but still a light wire hook to bend instead of break when snagged.

Second, if you guys had to narrow down some color plastics to have on hand to say like maybe 5-6 different colors and that's it what colors would they be?

Bonehead jigs all I use up to 3" baits never tried much bigger. But there 3" beavers are pretty thick and have plenty of hook left.

Electric chicken
bluegrass
Lights out
Critter glitter
Blue thunder
Bonewhite chartreuse
Are my main bait colors but have that in 3 or 4 different style baits

Then I have a Wal-Mart sack full of all kind of stuff I keep in the storage box if nothing's working
