5/7 Report!

Today brought another GREAT day to be on the water. A nice 52* with little to no wind. Also, being as it is Monday, very little fishermen around too.;)

Was almost a repeat performance of Friday 5/5. Although the first hour was tough only boating 5 fish the remaining 3 hours were fast and furious. Fish of all sizes were caught along with white and black crappies.

With today being the last day I have off work until next Sunday I couldn't fish too long so after culling out a respectable Ga limit I called it a day. Total Catch were 51 throwbacks and 30 keepers.

Will have a fish fry next week and invite Dad and his wife over. The remaining fish will go into his freezer. Here's the fish I brought home...

Don, I haven't been to the SC Little River this year so I really couldn't say. I wouldn't be scared to try it though.

Nice Butch. I like those live action shots with the bent rods. Hopefully soon I'll get to see mine bent.

You pulling 1/16 jigs now? or did you move to heavier to get deeper?

Still pulling 1/16ths in 10'-18' of water.

Way to go Butch! Another great livewell shot. You've been working on them since you got your boat back!
