Had my first nice catch of crappies today from the bank on a heavily fished river. A Bobby Garland Baby Shad (Monkey Milk) on a 1/32 jighead and float was the ticket.
My wife's a fan of Richard Gene cause he says fishin's gooooood fer me, and goooood fer her too since it gets me out of the house and she gets to enjoy some solitude.
In my mid 70s I'm grateful for every trip I can get in.
I dont know but one thing my grandfather always told me. The more I keep doing these things the better I feel. He was perfectly healthy up until 8 days before he died. Healthy enough had come out and throw on a welding hood and weld on my derby cars, at 80. Dont quit it is good for ya. I'm a firm believer to this day it wasn't the cancer that killed him, it was they made him quit doing the things he wanted to do. Get out there and do what you enjoy bud
There were a lot of good catches this weekend, congratulations on yours.
When we get up in years all trips are good. Just keep doing
