Lake Bruin?
Never fished there. Fish the main lakes here in MS. Buddy of mine has a house down there and wants me to take him fishing. I'd be willing to swap out some info for some guidance on Bruin. PM me. Not looking for any secret honey holes, just maybe some helpful hints for this time of year.
Do you like the docks and trees in between or do the fish like the trees on the State Park side of lake? Favorite color out there? or just straight minner rigs.... Thanks in advance

I haven't fished there, but the LA wildlife website has a map that has locations of some artificial structure they put in. Dont know how acurite they are, or if they will produce but it is better than going in blind.

I have fished it many times... It is not an easy lake to Crappie fish... The lights at night around the many piers can produce, but Hybrid Stripers can wreck your gear in a hurry.
Look for Crappie deep on brushtops very soon, as they are about to be done, if not already. Mostly black crappie in the lake... That suggestion of looking for structure placed out there is good, but they can also be hard to find. The docks may hold some fish, but the lake is really more geared toward bass!

Lot of piers have structure in front of them. State Park IMO has the better ones. Rely on your sonar. Blue/white and silver/white have been my photo's. Good Luck
