Son and I on Truman Lake.
My son and I fished Truman today (Monday - April 30th) and came home with 19 crappies after four hours of fishing. We fished west of Truman State Park around T6 and T7. Out of 19 keepers, only two were females with their eggs. All were caught on jugs in 18 inches to 4 feet of water. Total of about 40+ crappies were caught, and the small ones were 8 1/2 - 9 inches. Most of the keepers were 10 - 13 inches. The water temp was 57.6 - 64.5 depending on the cove. Bass were hitting our jugs and we caught 20+ of them. The wind was a factor, but we were able to find cover from it.
Happy fishing to all.
