Fished 4/26 8-12:30, water temp 49-51 Limited 2-5' water half on minnows and half on Black & Chartreuse. biggest was 13" all in one spot.
Fished 4/28 6:30-12:30, water temp 52-55, 15 2-5' water. All on Black & Chartreuse biggest 13.5". had to move a lot.

We were there 4/28,
Caught a dozen nice crappie in about 10 ft. water on the same color combo pulling them out of brush piles. We were on the move as well. No 13 inchers but all were 11 inch or better. No thump, just watched the line, when there was slack in the line, set the hook.

I was there Sat night on foot. Slow at first jig n bobber casting parallel to the bank 8ft out. Finally found a spot that produced 11 crappies in the 10.5"-11.5" range. Of those,only two were females. The rest we're males all tuxed out, except they didn't make it to prom.

Have plans to go to hillsdale tomorrow morning haven’t fished much since I was younger seem to enjoy myself even if I don’t catch any keepers that being said any tips or suggestions would be appreciated

Only caught two keepers one 10 1/2 & one 13 and a few dinks all in wade branch area still a good day for me
