Weldon / Roanoke River

Went to the Roanoke River Saturday from 6:30 to 2:00. We caught between 25 and 30 fish. We had 4 keepers and the rest was from 15" to 17". We caught the fish from the big rock to the power lines, using live shad. Thank to the guys on this website for helping me find the live shad. And buzzbait I agree with what you say about using the right bait. Last year we used live minnows and cut bait and did not have the success we had this year.

Nice catch fellas. It's odd to get that much river in the picture without several other boats in the background. Was the crowd not there?

He probably uses that picture editing software that shows up on the net where they take all the other people at the beach
