Any help on Shelbyville?

First time to fish this lake, and it's size is intimidating, considering we only have 3 days to fish. Annually we go on a a father-in-law, son-in-law trip (3 of us "sons"), and we chose Shelbyville. We are going to be staying at Wolf Creek from Sunday, April 29th (after church, as all of us are ministers from 3 different states) thru May 2nd. I don't want to waste our time hunting them and getting frustrated, AND I PROMISE we won't catch them all! I've been doing as much research as I can, even to the point of trying to locate the Christmas tree and porcupine drop sites. ANY HELP WITH THIS EVEN? Hoping to get a little help. Like I said, we aren't wanting to clean out the lake, but have enough to eat each night while we are there. WE AREN'T PROS....just needing advice where to start to where we enjoy ourselves.

As for the drop sites, visit the "USACE Lake Shelbyville" website that covers Shelbyville
and then scroll down. On the left side is a title "MAPS". Click on it and it will give you
another dialogue box with various listings, including "ATTRACTORMAPS". You can print
all of the maps listed and it will give you precise latitudes and longitudes. You can also
call Don Satterfield or Brian Clelland and ask them for suggestions, and maybe even
hire them for a half or full day of guiding. Best of luck!!!

From wolf creek you don't have to go far. That's a good cove to catch fish without having to get on the main lake but be careful, there is alot to stumps across the cove from the ramp. Good luck.

Water temps today was 49-51 depending on where we were on the lake. We fished mostly between Wilborn and Bo Woods. There were three Crappie tournaments on the lake today and based on our conversations with fellow boaters while on the water, spider rigging seemed to produce the most fish.
