Can one of you give me the link to the blind mounting bolts that one of you recommended to Butch a while back.
These were not the rubber type commonly advertisedd. He has those but they keep coming loose.

Ray, I had plenty of room to turn my mounting plates 90 degrees and drill new mounting holes in the deck. I also added liquid nails to the holes when I put the screws in. If I have been told correctly it will bust the wooden deck before I'll be able to loosen those screws anymore. Time will tell....but with such tall rod holders on the front (about 2.5' tall) I no longer transport the boat with the holders attached. Instead, I'll put them on at the landing before launching. (I only use the front ones when somebody else is fishing with me...which is rare.) The bouncing of the boat on the road really took it's toll on the screws and deck previously. There's not a problem with the rest of my holders on such short bases.
