Only managed 3 keepers today in about 5 hours of fishing. Wind was absolutely brutal. From the look of the cleaning station at Sportsmans, nobody else did well either. Anybody have any luck today?

My wife and I fished yesterday afternoon for a few hours and had 7 keepers but we were across the lake from Jonathan on the LBL side. Probably that many throw backs. The ones we caught were hanging tight to wood about 22 feet of water. We came back to the cleaning station at Sportsman's and your right it was clean and dry as a bone. Looked like no one had used it.
Only got to fish for about 3 hours today. Not a single crappie in the boat. Only got 1 more day, hope tomorrow is better.Quote:

I caught them in 17ft of water. I tried some shallow spots first and didn't catch anything.
Managed 12 but my clients missed quite a few light bites while rigging. 12 to 17 feet. Jigs with a nibble outperforming minnows. Man they are light biting right now...THIS WEATHER SUCKS!!!:dono
Only one keeper today. Wind was brutal again and cold. Went across the main lake and tore into the Largemouth. Pretty good day.

We did better yesterday on barkley in the rain than Friday. We got 12 keepers long lining jigs in 12 to 14 foot of water. Threw 2 back before we started keeping fish. Attachment 298533
