Let me just say fishing early before work his wearing me out, but I can't help it. I work at the Cooperage which has some weird hours compared to other places I've worked (1:00pm to 9:30pm) but I'm doing my best to take advantage! So I got to my hole about 5:30 am and right off the bat caught my personal best as far as length beating out that big black I posted the other day. After that I didn't catch a thing for about 45 min. Decided to start searching the rip rap walking down the bank. I managed to find a few more finishing with 10 crappie and a big ol gil. I took off tomorrow too see how that evening bite is so hopefully it pays off. The big fish was 16.25! I know y'all crappie legends probably catch those all the time but I'm damn sure proud of it haha. Of the 10 crappie, 9 were females and ALL STILL HAD EGGS. Roll Tide and tight lines

That's a nice one. I'm probably going to have to pick between fishing and turkey hunting this weekend. Those big crappie pics make it a tough decision.

Nice catch I was really wanting to go this weekend myself I figured after this warm weather this week it should be good but they keep taking about severe weather Saturday so it's not looking good.
