So I did a lil experiment . We couldn't buy a bite this AM so I skeeted a lil slab sauce on my jig and caught five in a row with my partner catching none. He finally asked what I was doing different and I pulled the bottle outa my pocket. On a slow day it most definitely makes a difference. We mighta got skunked without it. Ended up with 20 with it.
What style of jig were you using? Do you have to be using a ribbed/grooved style jig for it stay on or will it work with something smooth like the BGBS types?
Monkey milk bgbs was what I was using. Reapplying every five fish.

Some of the guys at Sardis had a slow bite going using minnows...then some gewber sprayed slab sauce on his minnow and started catching.....it works.
