sonar guestion

i recently upgraded my tm and electronics. i have a helix 9 gen2 at the helm. and a helix 5 gps/sonar at the bow thats connected to the universal sonar on my ultrex. i'm not happy with the returns i get with the US when i compare it to my bigger unit there is night and day difference. i think im gonna change this out to the transducer that came with the unit. my guestion is do i just unhook the adapter that i got to make it compatible with the US an just mount the transducer as you would with any other unit. just dont want to miss anything up unhooking.

Correct ... disconnect the Minn Kota adapter cable, remove it from the Humminbird cable collector, and install the HB xducer cable connector is the same spot in the cable collector ...

Mount the Humminbird xducer to the foot of the TM and route the xducer cable to the HB head unit ...
