Attachment 297722I put a new Terrova on my boat a year ago. Recently started having problems with the circuit breaker popping. I believe the problem was the old circuit breaker, it was 50 amp and checking Minnkota website they require the 60 amp. Just got it in from Cabelas and installed it. Hopefully this will alleviate future problems. I'll follow up after my next fishing trip.

I've had an issue with one of mine. Where the (4) black pins are located by the switch. Two of those four pins sheared off. I only noticed it because the top plate was lifted off from the housing. I purchased another one and have not seen any additional issues. Nothing hit it as it is bulkhead mounted. This is a tournament boat and it takes a beating in high seas.
If this one trips, check your wiring.
Circuit breakers do go bad and change values and trip at lower amperages.
That fixed my problem. (With the trolling motor, now if I could just catch some fish!!)
