What happened to all the Arkansas fishing reports ??

A few years ago people posted fish pics and told where and how they were catching. Now we get very few reports and those that do rarely even say the lake they were caught on. If I ever caught enough to brag about I wouldn't mind sharing.

I got 10 keepers at Overcup Easter afternoon in 5 foot of water, none had spawned and went back Thursday and only kept 4. Water temp was 63 Sunday and 59 Thursday.

I guess I'm complaining, but I thought we were supposed to share and help each other out. I have been PM'ed by other members and told not to give reports since " you will be covered up next time you go there" !! I understand not giving exact locations and GPS coordinates, but come on - saying you caught a limit at Lake Conway isn't going to put every C.C member on the lake the next day !!

If the Arkansas forum is going to be interesting enough to keep looking at, I think we need to at least suggest that you tell the lake that you caught a nice mess on if your going to post pics and tell the story.

Since Nimrod, Crappie Greg, and Crappie Pro, and Foshe stopped posting with their stories, we rarely get any info to help a novice guy out. I understand that Crappie Pro is out of action - hopefully to return Very Soon. I am sure he is in all our prayers.

Lets make this forum a little more interesting by not being selfish and at least give a clue as to the lake and what's going on with the spawn, water temps, water level, etc so a guy can figure out where to spend their Saturday off !!

If I ever catch a "tale gate picture" mess I will share !! If I can figure out how to download a picture from my IPhone.......

Heck if I go and get a mess I will post it proudly, been one time this year and only got three little ones

We caught a few nice ones on Greeson Wednesday, but just a few. Some in 2’ of water, some at 10’. Couldn’t ever really nail them down. Attachment 297510

I really don't understand the big deal myself. I guess I could understand this a bit more if the area was the size of the "pond" in Conway but don't see how it would cause major concerns for the rest of the lake. If applied to say Greers stating a few were caught in 6' of water next to standing timber isn't going to wipe out the species the next day even if the hordes descended on the lake like locusts.

You would not cause you don't fish like many of us do . Name the water body and people will find you . I quit Atkins because people crowded so bad they bumped into my boat when I was catching . Do your home work like we do . Sometimes we fish as many as 5 bodies of water in a week looking for fish . Let everyone do their own searching . I have dumped several fishing partners after they shared my information .

Whatever,its always nimrod involved in this conversation no surprise.

I will say, normally i dont reply to threads like this.... it has changed, but i can tell you i have met some great friends to this date from this site.... 95% of the people on here will answer ur question or give u some general information if you messase them AND have been “ACTIVE” on here yourself.... just my opinion
