Reelfoot is being tough this week...fished 2.5 days and. Caught 1-7" crappie. Reports are the same from everyone we have talked to, including those who have a hired a guide this week..combination of falling water and repeated cold fronts seems to have them lip locked! Water temp rose to 58 yesterday but was back down to 54 this morning as air temp dropped to 36 overnight.
got on the foot yesterday afternoon for about 2 hours after work. Kept 6 beautiful fish. They are trying to heat up a little bit , but im sure the cold front will kill their mood this weekend. fish where caught in 7 fow water on solid chartruce curly tails.
I only caught a few smaller ones in the trenches under pads Thursday morning.
I know of several limits caught Friday before the front hit. It didn't fit my schedule to get on the lake or I would of been for sure

Water temperature was 46 when I started this morning. It got up to 52 or so.

Thinking about trying again this Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyone having any luck?
