Looking for some help here. My uncle bought a new unit from Brian, Helix 10SI Mega GPS. The DI and sonar work great but no SI, not even showing under views as an option. Upon start up unit is identified as a SI unit. Are we missing something that needs to be turned on? Tried restoring defaults but that didn’t work. Going to call HB on Monday but he is a truck driver and won’t be able to have the unit on when he calls. Anybody help is appreciated.

Wow! That is strange. There are some really electronics gurus on this forum. I'm sure someone will chime in soon. I'm curious about this, also. If it's new, I wouldn't worry about it too much. GOOD LUCK!:popcorn
Restore Defaults should have set the unit back to factory if the Connected Transducer Selection had been inadvertently changed ...
Just to verify ... Go to Connected Transducer under the Sonar tab and verify it is set to the MEGA xducer ...
