The Tchefuncte River

Fished the river today. Made it there about half pass nine.

Conditions were perfect.

Water was up a few feet and clearing up nicely. Wind blowing strong out da southeast..

Lucky to have my first mate with me. No wet feet at da landing :biggrin. Oldest Son. Came in town from Northern Virginia.

He Wanted to go catching. Said Tuesday da day. Rain coming Wednesday and Thursday.

Gave it a good shot. My first mate out fished me. One blue cat, big google eye, and a small sac. I caught one little goggle eye.:dono

He is the prodigy of a great fisherman. Tell him thanks for me for keeping watch over us.
